Edgewater Capital Partners Hires Brian Leonard
Edgewater Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Brian Leonard has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Brian will be responsible for the firm’s accounting, tax, valuation, and financial reporting functions. As well, Brian will oversee and manage investor and regulatory compliance for the firm.
Prior to joining Edgewater, Brian was a Director in the transaction services practices of two national accounting firms for five years. He spent an additional nine years in the assurance and transaction services practices of two “Big 4” accounting firms. His clients and targets have included both domestic and international companies, and have consisted of both private equity firms and Fortune 500 corporations, where he has worked on transactions in the industrial products, chemicals, coatings, and information technology industries. Brian was also the chief financial officer of an electronic health records company.
Brian is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Ohio Society of CPAs, serves on the Board of Directors for the Cleveland Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, and is a graduate of Miami University with a B.S. degree in accounting.
