Edgewater Capital Partners Announces New Vice President, Sarita Gavhane
Cleveland, OH, August 7, 2019 – Edgewater Capital Partners (“Edgewater”), the performance materials focused private equity firm, announced today that Sarita Gavhane has joined the firm as a Vice President. She joins the investment team and will be responsible for identifying and developing key investment themes for new investment opportunities, transaction execution, and supporting the management teams of Edgewater’s portfolio in developing strategic growth initiatives. The addition of Ms. Gavhane follows Edgewater’s closing of its most recent fund, ECP IV, at $185 million.
Prior to joining Edgewater, Ms. Gavhane was a Vice President at Canal Holdings, LLC, a lower middle-market junior capital firm, where she was responsible for originating investment opportunities, investment execution and portfolio company oversight in a variety of industries. Prior to Canal, Ms. Gavhane worked in boutique investment banking in the Boston area as well as within the assurance practice of a large multi-national accounting firm. Ms. Gavhane holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Ms. Gavhane also maintains a CPA license in the State of Ohio.
