MARK MIKLOS
Executive Partner – Aerospace & Defense, Metals, and Materials
Mark Miklos is an Executive Partner at Edgewater Capital Partners in the Aerospace & Defense, Metals, and Materials sectors. He brings a strong background in leadership, operations, and strategy across aerospace and advanced materials, with a focus on high-performance manufacturing for mission-critical applications. Mark was previously CEO of Fiber Materials Inc. (FMI), where he led the company through a period of transformative growth. Under his leadership, FMI became a leading supplier of high-temperature composites and thermal protection systems for defense and aerospace platforms. He guided the business through its successful acquisition by Spirit AeroSystems in 2020 and subsequently served as Senior Vice President of Defense at Spirit. In that role, he led the integration of FMI, managed multi-site operations, and drove key growth initiatives in hypersonics, unmanned aircraft, next generation effects, and next generation crewed aircraft. Earlier in his career, Mark held leadership roles across a range of advanced manufacturing companies in both public and private settings. He has built and led global teams, scaled complex operations, and delivered strategic growth across the defense, space, and commercial aerospace sectors.
