SARITA GAVHANE
Principal
Sarita is a Principal on Edgewater’s investment team and focuses on all of the firm’s target industry verticals. She is responsible for identifying and developing key investment themes for new investment opportunities, transaction execution, and supporting the management teams of Edgewater’s portfolio through the development of strategic growth initiatives. Prior to joining Edgewater in 2019, Sarita was a vice president at a middle-market junior capital firm, where she was responsible for originating investment opportunities, investment execution, and portfolio company oversight in a variety of industries. Before that, she was an investment banker focusing on the healthcare and technology verticals at several boutique firms in the Boston area. Sarita began her career within the assurance practice of a large multi-national accounting firm.
Sarita has a BA from Boston College in Accounting and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
