Liang is responsible for building relationships with business owners and developing key investment themes in Edgewater’s focus areas. Prior to joining Edgewater in 2023, Liang was a global new market development leader at Morgan Advanced Materials, developing inorganic growth strategies, identifying, and executing M&A, joint venture, and partnership projects. Before that, Liang was a senior manager of corporate strategy and corporate ventures at Lubrizol. Liang started her career at Dow Chemical China and spent 10 years in sales, business development, and strategic marketing roles, with extensive experience in specialty chemicals and the electronics industry.
Liang holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Beihang University and an MBA from Cornell SC Johnson College of Business.
